Captain Caper and Itchy Feet talked me into trying this place. I normally avoid food courts like the plague. And yet, this is one place I will go back to. My husband had the Singapore Noodles and I had the General Tao along with a couple of spring rolls. The food was fresh, and while the meats were prepared already, the dishes were put together in a blazing hot wok while we waited. Very good value for what we got. The spring rolls I would not get again as they suffered for being made ahead of time and the plum sauce in the little plastic wrappers is not something I'm fond of. I too hope this place does well - the owner clearly cares about what he is serving up.

PS why does Thai Go not show up when I do a search for it on this site?

My second visit for lunch.

Singapore fried vermicelli with chicken $6.99 (with extra noodles ... a buck more).

Best I ever had ? ... no ... but as good as any from the Chinatown restaurants I tried.

(Flash made the noodles in the pic look extra-yellowish)

Sorry for the prolific posts on this vendor. I just want them to succeed soooo bad and NOT be replaced by typical mall food (or even worse ... a franchise mall food outlet).

Here is the co-owner/chef with the sign "Write down your favorite Asian food".

Talk about a customer feedback form.

After reading itchy's review, I just had to go check it out.

I luv mom and pop shops, especially when run by fresh Canadians trying to make their way. Good on them !

Had the Pad Thai with extra noodles. Totally stuffed me and I'm a big guy. Not the very best Pad Thai I ever had but far from the worst. Help yourself to the lime slices and crushed peanuts at the pickup spot. Like itchy has noted: Good value.

Will go back to try their แกงเขียวหวาน (green curry) and or fried rice. Chef says he uses Mae Ploy brand Thai green curry paste ... the best that I've have ever found (next to homemade)

Nice friendly family service. Willing and able to please ... wrt customization of food and packaging.

Featuring Thai, Chinese inc. Dim Sum if ordered ahead ... and Poutine, all cooked in front of you ala that other Thai food court success, Thai Express. But, this is a one-family show headed up by an enthusiastic N. Chinese transplant + occasional cute-kid peaking up from the counter.

Menu includes familiar specials - Noodles (pad thai, sing. noodle, pad seuw), Stir-fries, Soups, etc. Best noodles in town? I dunno ... but a definite good value/taste quotient. All can be upsized - extra noodle for a loonie, 2 loonies worth will feed a family.

Crowdsourcing at its best, chef/owner has a notebook + pen hanging over the counter inviting ideas as to possible menu options.
