This is an easy to make, no-brainer dessert that most of the children (even my hubby) love to eat. Our son's piano teacher has recital for all her students twice a year. Each student is asked to bring one dessert. I made this ice-cream jello for the recital's reception.
Ingredients:
Strawberry Jello - 3 packages
Gelatin - 1 tablespoon (or 15ml) or 1 pouch of Knox Gelatine
Hot water - 3 cups
Vanilla Ice Cream - 3 cups
Preparation:
1. Dissolve jello (3 packages) and gelatin (1 tablespoon/15 ml or 1 pouch) into 2 cups of hot boiling water.
2. Add vanilla ice cream (3 cups) to jello liquid to mix well.
3. Add another cup of hot boiling water to melt well.
4. Refridge for few hours.
NOTE: Feel free to use other jello favour. But we found strawberry has a better taste for this dessert.
Thanks for the close-up! Oooh...pretty!
I do something similar...albeit a more adult version with espresso and gelatin.
A nice cube-shot before a bike ride. Rocket fuel.
