Joanne - Welcome to Ottawa Foodies... I don't know what it is just a sense... I could see you had something to offer. Think you'll enjoy it here, we have a couple of members who don't live in Ottawa and they still manage to add to the site's value paricularly with the Forum. Glad to see you've decided to come out from behind the "User Number" facade.

PS... Check out the HELP Section it is a good place for a Newbie to start a lot of intro info... other than that it is just jump right in. The TAGS and FIND options are always a blessing when trying to locate something you've seen previously.

Hi Food & Think - Sorry for any suspicion - I could see why one would think it. I'm new to this, and while it's true I am back in Toronto now, I thought it would be fair and helpful to bring another option out as they do deliver to Ottawa. I saw an old post last night about La Bottega and thought I should mention the Olive oil Emporium. I did enjoy Bottega by the way! User 2244 - There is a certain "suspicion" that comes along with a New User praising a product on their first post (SHILL?)... BUT, I have to say I am impressed with OOE's Website... so I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt (even though the product is from Toronto, and so are you). Do us all a favour, come out from behind the woodwork and give yourself a real User Name and join the discussion, I think you'd have a lot to offer.

I stayed with family in Ottawa over the last summer and while I was there we ordered olive oils twice from The Olive Oil Emporium. Very unique oils from Greece and Spain, and other countries too.
