Palermo's is one of my favourite lunchtime places. It is located on Sparks St and you can eat in or take-out (very convenient!). During the nice weather, they have a lovely patio.
They have a range of sandwiches, wraps and paninis to choose from. Salads (veggies, pasta, beans) are also available. They have a large selection of drinks, including imported Italian beverages. There is also a breakfast food (muffins, danishes, etc) and coffee counter.
I LOVE their paninis and ciabatta sandwiches; my fave being the Tanaro (smoked salmon). For $7.50 even, I can get this lovely sandwich with choice of two sides. It is all very fresh and filling.
