Ottawa Foodies

Yes indeed, I am passionate about food! I love to eat food, look at food, smell food and buy food. After all, it takes work to maintain my love handles!! LOL

I was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. The joy of great food shared with family and friends has always been an important part of who I am. My immigrant parents owned a Chinese restaurant for many years, so my siblings and I are used to the demanding pace of the hospitality/food industry.

I also love to cook and entertain. For me, good service/atmosphere is just as important as the food, regardless of the type of establishment.

At present, I am a (oh-me-gosh!) public servant trying to make sense of our country's bureaucracy. I live in a cozy condo in downtown Ottawa, miss having a backyard/garden, and I'm trying to balance Life's passions with reason. For those in the know, we'll see how that turns out. I am a yummy mummy...but to three fur babies and two senior babies, all of whom I love dearly, along with my extended family. And my friends are the people who keep me grounded. HTA ;)
