An avid foodie, love baked goods of all kinds.
Have found a few jewels in Ottawa for food and baked goods.
Travel a lot and try out restaurants and pastry shops whenever I can.

Hi CakeLady: I appreciate your feedback about my negative response, but keep in mind that reviews are subjective, and don't really quailify for a rebuttal: If you wanted, you could leave me a message on my profile, or send me a conversation. If I do go back to Cake Shop, I will write another review.
Something else to keep in mind in reviewing vendors, whether they are restaurants, pastry shops or food shops: Try to include specifics as to why you love the place in question, what makes them so special, but also, if the review is in the past tense (ie. you have the Magic Black Chocolate Cake at TCS two months ago) state that, so that people know if a vendor changes over time (and change can be good), where they should be benchmarking their expectations :)
