I like to consider myself a pretty serious home cook. I particularly enjoy cooking and entertaining for friends, and I am always looking for new ideas and ingredients.
I enjoy eating all types of food. Most of my cooking falls into what could be loosely (and somewhat poorly) termed "Mediterranean" (i.e: a lot of French, Italian and Spanish influences) or British Isles but I try to use Ontario or Quebec produce as much as I possibly can.
I take charcueterie seriously and usually have a few cured items on the go.
I really enjoy West Indian, German, Arabic, East Indian and East Asian cuisines and I am slowly trying to incorporate these styles into my cooking.
I also love to travel and this provides a lot of inspiration for my cooking.
