I borrowed the description from Wikipedia.
A katsudon (カツ丼) is a popular Japanese food, a bowl of rice topped with a deep-fried pork cutlet, egg, and condiments.
The dish takes its name from the Japanese words tonkatsu (for pork cutlet) and donburi (for rice bowl dish).

I have had katsudon here a couple times and it is always wonderful. The meat is perfectly cooked and the texture of the rice is amazing. The egg is perfect and the seasonings are just right! Highly recommended.
